This 2 prong hairclaw is carved from a red laminated birch hardwood and is waterproof. It is about 6 1/4"  long and is decorated with a glass dome charm that has a tree of life with the sun and nature in the background. Its very cool and pips out on your hair....I only wish I could take a picture to show it's glory. I digress.....
You can also use this as a shawl closure.
All hairclaws have slight curves to ensure comfort and that it will not slide out at those inopportune moments. 
 
I recommend rubbing mineral oil (or an oil of your choice) on this claw once every 6 months or if it ever looks dry.
